To be honest, it sounds like she’s regurgitating paragraphs she’s read in some pop psychology book… I’d imagine that a whole lot of women would disagree with that assessment. Of course personality matters, and of course physicality matters, too.
Personality definitely moderates physical attraction – when you like someone and enjoy their company, that obscures physical imperfections and renders them more attractive. When you dislike someone and find them abrasive or annoying, their physical imperfections can be distractingly unattractive.
